That’s why we were delighted to host an engaging and insightful CPD evening on Wednesday, 19th March, focusing on the crucial topic of Customised refractive targets in cataract surgery.
The event, held at the beautiful Balbirnie House in Markinch, Glenrothes, provided a fantastic setting for learning and networking. From 6.00pm to 9.00pm, attendees had the opportunity to delve into the nuances of achieving optimal visual outcomes for cataract patients through carefully tailored refractive targets.
We were privileged to welcome Dr Peter Wilson as our speaker for the evening. Dr Wilson, a respected figure in the field, shared his extensive knowledge and practical insights into this increasingly important aspect of cataract surgery. His presentation explored the various factors to consider when customising refractive targets, ultimately aiming to enhance patients’ post-operative vision and reduce their reliance on spectacles.
