Mr Bhaskar Gupta is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in the treatment of vitreoretinal disorders and cataracts, based at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. Since 2017, he has dedicated himself to providing exceptional care for patients with conditions affecting the back of the eye, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. With a career spanning over two decades, Mr Gupta has performed more than 21,000 cataract surgeries and 2,000 vitrectomies, demonstrating his surgical expertise and commitment to improving patients’ vision.
